Gretchen Clark

My Name is Gretchen Clark and I am currently the President of IEHJA. I would like to

be considered for the upcoming term for the board of directors.

I believe in this organization and have seen it grow over the years with the help of all the

board members. I would love to be a part in continuing this upward path. This year,

with the help of others, IEHJA has received non-profit status. I feel this will open the

door for many new opportunities.

My background- horses all my life; student, instructor, trainer, judge, life member

LAHSA, USEF member, USHJA member, show manager, and owner. I feel I have

perspectives from all sides to help me be a valuable board member.

Thank you for placing my name on the ballot.

Jessica Clark

Hello

My name is Jessica Clark and I am writing to express my interest in running for the IEHJA Board of Directors. I have been a member of the board for over 7 years and I look forward to representing the board in the future.

I have been the assistant trainer at a hunter jumper barn in Redlands, California for eight years and I plan to use that experience to help better this association. I am excited to work with the old and new members of this association to make their experiences memorable and I would love to be apart of this board to make a positive impact.

Thank you for your consideration!

Megan Gastel

Dear Inland Empire Hunter Jumper Association,

I'm reaching out to express my interest in joining the IEHJA Board. Having spent most of my life in the equestrian world—as a rider, trainer, and breeder —I'm excited about the opportunity to give back to the community in another way.
I’ve been involved in horses since I was three and competing since five, starting out in the hunter ring and eventually finding my passion in eventing. Over the years, I’ve trained with some of the top names in the sport, ridden up to the Advanced level in Three-Day Eventing, earned my Bronze Medal in dressage, and started my own business, Telesis Equestrian. In 2018, I expanded into breeding with Telesis Connemaras.
I also have experience on the organizational side. During college I served as Chairman for the American Connemara Pony Society and helped run USEF, USDF, and CDS-recognized shows. I later served as the Region X Chair for ACPS as well. I still currently help as a board member with the ACPS and run their social media as well as manage all of their awards programs. All of this has showed me how important strong, supportive leadership is for keeping our community thriving.
I’d love the chance to bring my experience, perspective, and energy to the board. I care deeply about the future of our sport, and I’m always looking for ways to be of service and support meaningful progress.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best,
Megan Gastel

Kate Hallett

To the Members of the Inland Empire Hunter Jumper Association,

I am writing to express my intent to run for a seat on the Inland Empire Hunter Jumper Association (IEHJA) Board of Directors. As a current member with over 40 years of experience in the hunter/jumper discipline, I am deeply committed to the well-being of the horse and the integrity of our sport. I learned to ride with trainers who valued traditional hunt seat equitation, including Gretchen Clark, and I currently ride with Markley Chaffin.

Having shown ponies and then in the junior hunters and equitation, I now plan on continuing to show as an adult amateur in the hunters, derbies, and equitation divisions. My passion for this discipline, combined with my equine science degree and professional experience in the field, makes me a dedicated candidate ready to contribute to the continued success of our association.

I believe in the importance of member voices and am eager to continue the valuable work of the IEHJA. If elected, I will work to ensure our organization remains a supportive and vibrant community for all members.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Kate Hallett

Devynn Sibley

Dear Members of the Nominating Committee,

I am writing to formally submit my letter of intent to continue serving on the Inland Empire Hunter Jumper Association Board of Directors. Over the past several years, it has been both an honor and a privilege to contribute to this organization, working alongside dedicated individuals who share the same passion for supporting and growing our equestrian community.
In my current role as Social Media Chair, I have enjoyed building our online presence and strengthening our communication with members, exhibitors, and the wider equestrian community. Through this work, I have seen firsthand how important outreach, connection, and visibility are to keeping our organization thriving.

My time on the board has given me valuable insight into the needs of our members, as well as the opportunity to collaborate on initiatives that uphold the values and mission of IEHJA. I am eager to continue contributing my experience, creativity, and dedication to help the association move forward, ensuring it remains a positive and supportive community for all riders and horse alike.
Thank you for considering my intent to remain part of the IEHJA Board of Directors. I look forward to the opportunity to continue supporting the Inland Empire Hunter Jumper Association and its members.
Sincerely,
Devynn Sibley

Michelle Stubbs

 Hi,

I’d like to run for the IEHJA board of directors.
I’m interested in preserving the Hunter jumper Horseshows within the Inland Empire. These shows are an important step for many young horses and riders that need an affordable step to success.

Ryann Bahl

Hi, I’m Ryann Bahl, and I’ll be 18 in November. I currently train with

Alixe Garcia-Esua and Rachel DuePree at DVG Show Stables. I believe I am

valuable to the board because I am the only one in San Diego County, which

allows me to reach many people who may not have heard of the association

otherwise. Other things I would love to keep helping with are social media and

volunteering in any way that I can.

Allie Sibley

To the IEHJA Board and Members,
I am writing to formally express my intent to serve on the Inland Empire Hunter Jumper Association Board of Directors. As a longtime participant in the IEHJA community, I have a deep appreciation for the values and opportunities this association provides to riders and barns across SoCal.

My goal in continuing to serve on the Board is to contribute to the ongoing growth and professionalism of our circuit, while helping maintain the welcoming and supportive atmosphere that makes IEHJA so special. I believe in transparent communication, encouraging junior/amateur involvement, and ensuring our shows remain both competitive and enjoyable for all levels of riders/horses.

With experience in show management and being on the IEHJA Board for a number of years, I bring attributes that I hope will serve the Board its members well in the coming years.

Thank you for considering my application. I would be honored to continue to represent and serve our community as part of the IEHJA Board of Directors.

Warm regards,
Allie Sibley
